Looking for new phone,but really hard to make a decision between this two phones...

Do u need S-pen? 3.5mm jack a must? big or okay-ish battery capacity?

do u even need to think?

Smooth and longer battery life is what i concern about..

It's ok to wait for me..Cause my spare phone still working well..

I prefer mate for battery, others I think not much different. Unless you really need pen, 3.5mm hp jack & 2k display, go to note 8.

My 2 years old mate 8 battery still can last 1 & 1/2 days. I may upgrade to Mate10 pro 6GB RAM when used set price below RM2k. My next choice is oneplus 5T.

The feature I like about Note 8 (like previous Note) is that you can just take the pen out and scribble a quick note without having to power on or launch any application

i use huawei coz of its cheaper
but honestly...

still feel like i should pick samsung till now

For battery life nobody knows for sure, you need to use both to find out. ( Subject to your conditions)

Unless you just rely on tech specs on paper

Don't really need the s-pen anyway..Just saw youtube battery drain test,althought the battery size of m10p is larger,but mayb due to optimise of sofware,note 8 battery life seems to last more longer than m10p..

Ya,the price really make me think twice..althought they did not cost much different..

It all comes down to your usage. Want pen or no need pen.

Battery, nowadays can be compensated with vast available external power bank to the rescue.

For me, performance for both are comparable.
I don't think you will get any performance issue with both.
But i personally think Note came with better package & better all rounder.
Better design, better display, better branding, higher IP68 rating, more functionality with Samsung software, spen, sd card option etc.
