And i call them. Asking for any ps4 pro promotions
And the person i was talking to reply "yes"

I said, Can i know the price?
He reply "come to the store then u know"

Im from kajang. And im working. I cant just go to Midvalley just for the sake of checking price. Thats stupid. Why do u even put the number phone there for?

It aint cuz we love hearing your voice. Its for customers to inquire you about your product and services.

I said, im working right now. So i cant go. I just want to know the price and if its enticing, i would go to your shop later after work.

And he reply "you come see yourself.i have many customer. Ok. Tq"

Now let me be clear, im not bashing or propagating any witch hunt here,

Im just very disappointed by the rude treatment
And while im very eager to purchase a ps4 pro right now,

With that kind of poor services, i wont spend a cent at that shop even if i have all the money in the world

A simple "the price is rmXXXX" reply would be adequate
And they would have 1 more customer today

But unfortunately, thats not gonna happen now.

Warranty should be detailed in product description page. Like the PS4 sold by Lazada, it's local manufacturer warranty so have to register at Sony Malaysia website.

Trying to figure out any possible reason he dunwan to tell the price . 2 that I can think of

1) the price may not be that interesting. U may end up buying at other place, even though a bit more expensive. There may be slightly cheaper, But add transport cost, its not that feasible to buy there. So he try to avoid such thing. If u come n see the price, since u already there, u might as well buy there.

2) he lazy

That one is like no warranty liao I think. Unless you willing to go overseas to claim the warranty. This one I really no experience

other from warranty, buying PS4 oversea and ship to Malaysia, your PS4 will get hold by Malaysia Custom
they will ask you to go to Sirim office to get approval and sticker (which need pay for application)
then will need pay gst at Malaysia custom if you want collect your PS4

know this info from friends who bought PS4 from ebay/amazon and sending from oversea to malaysia

but not sure if it is still cheaper than buying locally after paying sirim and custom for gst + delivery fee
this only apply on electronic item
but problem is you need take leave, drive all the way to custom office do the stuff, and go to sirim apply for the item. kinda waste time for only buying 1 item.
except it is still cheap after all this, then ok la~

Probably because they are paranoid that you might be a competitor or scalper thus they are afraid of revealing the selling price. You go there directly at least they narrow down you are real customer.

sadly rude treatment from shop owners is a norm in malaysia. especially true that if those shop owners have "many customers" that buy up his goods quickly.

in western country, typical response would have been, "yes we are selling them at XXX price. but it is sales day and many customers are buying. i think it will be sold out soon."

And visit their store

The staff that serve me are very friendly
Probably different person than the one i dealt with before

And their ps4 pro is 1499
While star wars battlefield 2 edition is rm1999

Pretty cheap actually.

the consumer..( you or me or other) can judge it.

If you really like ps4 pro..how about getting the limited one..psst...star wars battlefront 2 is not the main one..
