I haven't seen anyone posted about this country, so i guess quite few Malaysian been to India right? So I'll be transferred to Mumbai, India around late next year, and I feel nervous for the coming changes in my life. This will be my first time working overseas and I hope i can cope with the lifestyle there. Is there anyone who's currently working in India or had been to India? I'd like to know the environment (I think I'll be staying close to East Andheri), the condition of houses, transportation, foods compare with Malaysia... anything! I know too few about this place.

QUOTE(Orzie @ Nov 23 2017, 04:26 PM) You will have hard time trying to understand their English, hahaha. Yea I figured the language will be a big problem, me myself is not a good english speaker as well, ha.In terms of food, Mumbai food may be sweeter to our taste - a Mumbai colleague once brought cookies from there, however we can't finish it coz too sweet All the best! Maybe their food contains more spices than us, so the taste is quite strong. Anyway thanks! QUOTE(cheer83 @ Nov 23 2017, 04:39 PM) Haha, not a great cook, but i guess I'll improve my cooking skill a lot when i get there. Also I might miss beef in India, not sure if they're selling any beef though. |
