tear off also got sound mah, just crack sound is disturbing only. Heard like lauya speaker only.

there is no true cure i am afraid
but can try these ideas:

1. go jalan pasar, buy the rubber rim. this means removing the original and restick with new rubber. drawback is, the new rim may not be as elastic.

2. there are tapes also sold in jalan pasar, so called to fix problems like yours. drawback.. may leak some air, and adds weight to the diaphragm.

u can go thai there..ask someone to fix for u..quite cheap..
coz last time i blast until the voice coil jam..normally sent back to factory it cost me around 200+..in thai they cost me rm50 only..somemore upgrade from 2.5 voice coil to 3...
anyway..it work fine until now...

can give more specific ??

what the thais gotta do with your speaker foam? u can send to refoam for around rm 180. why so expensive? its a pain sticking job and it takes quite long

Lol...you can get it fixed here.Will cost arround RM200 as told by scotty.No one can show you the exact location.Just go to your nearest car audio store and ask them.
