QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Dec 5 2017, 03:34 PM) My situation very simple. I unfortunately look at/use my phone more often than anything else so i prefer it to be the best available. I prioritise looks as well. Although back in the day when we still had keypads on phones, looks were more distinct. *Motorola RAZR*And also, the one that looks cooler, are not necessarily the most costly out there. For now, unfortunately, the sexiest phone for me is the s8. I also love the look of honor 9 but I haven't seen it in person, so it might only look good in pictures. But phones like the ip6,7,8, they are top in cost, but looks extremely mediocre. I can see the appeal in ipx for looks, but just not at the very top. |

QUOTE(Userzero @ Dec 2 2017, 09:30 AM) only for iPhone, it is not just a matter of status or to impress, but it is long lasting and performs well over the years. and great camera. my iPhone is reaching 5 years now, still working fine minus the bloating because of the battery, and i still haven't changed it. Imo iPhone for 2k, 3k or eeven 4k is worth it if u are using it for long term. Samsung also not bad. Nokia in the past also good. not sure with the new smartphones. other brands i think just buy the 1k or below you should get all the functions, but not much style, and abit less powerful camera but still good. xiao mi phones RM300 - RM600 can last more than 5 years. Iphones are not for long lasting more like showing standards or position |

No idea why the previous poster was saying iPhone is the practical phone while other phone are the status conscious one.Iphones are not for long lasting more like showing standards or position A 600 bucks Nokia, Xiaomi or Huawei can last 3-4 years and they will perform almost like when they are new, extremely mediocre. You might need to lug a powerbank with you tho. iPhone on the other hand, will last 3-4 years as well, but towards the end, they will perform like a 300 bucks Xiaomi. Extremely laggy with terrible battery. Still usable, but only light apps and calls... No new games or new features. Might as well just get a budget android? And with such price point, u can get like 3-4 androids for one iPhone. All in all iPhone are either for the rich or the less tech savvy. It's good if you can afford or want to afford, but it's hard to agree with iPhone fans saying that iPhone is the bang for buck option. This post has been edited by blueheaven: Dec 10 2017, 09:22 AM |

Iphone will stop providing support and update after certain years too. It will force you to update if not you cant open some apps.A 600 bucks Nokia, Xiaomi or Huawei can last 3-4 years and they will perform almost like when they are new, extremely mediocre.
