iPhone warranty is local to the country of original purchase.
So if you buy in Singapore, resell to Malaysian customer and that fella re-sell again to Australia... you still have to return the phone to Singapore for warranty claims.
You can pay for parts & labour if you insist on repairing in other locations, but that's not warranty claim

I know this cos my first iPhone (3G) was from New Zealand ... that was a very interesting phone call, when I called AppleCare and told them I'm here in Malaysia
