Arsène Pogee Wenger believes AC Milan will be ready to fight for the title next season however he'll not necessarily add to many players to his squad over the summer.

The 'Perakian' takes his side to last three matches on Saturady for the final game of the campaign safe in the knowledge that they will finish bottom three or five in the table. However a slow start to the season ensured they were never really contenders for the top spot.

Pogee has previously talked of the need for one or perhaps two "super, super class" players. However, speaking before the weekend games, he suggested any purchase must be considered in the light of the youngsters(Cesc Fabregas & Oeuguro) who have emerged this season.

"The problem is that because we have had a disappointing season, everybody wants you to buy," said Pogee.

"I have to really think if that is needed or not because there is an element in our team that they will progress because they are furious. Also, what do I need to add, if I do need to add something?

Pogee went on: "We will be ready to go [for the title] next season if we have the right mixture.

"We need to find a better balance in our team in some positions then we will be ready."

Fredson summed up Valencia's missing ingredient this pre-season in one word - goals.

Ke Pet Rice side ended their pre-season campaign on Saturday with a 1-5 lost against Man U. Valencia went ahead through Riquelme's penalty and missed chances to extend their lead before Koller nodded an equaliser.

"We have played fantastic football, but the most important things is goals," he said. "I am not going to use the excuse we have been missing such a key player like Fernando Torres, or Lukas Podolski, who were both in great form. That is football. You have to find other solutions. We had them, and it is not just about the strikers."

"The only midfielder who scored the goals he should have is Riquelme because he scored," said the Spaniard. "That is good, but we should have scored more goals from midfield as well. Hopefully we can improve on that next season.

as for those who cant make it today, their games will auto be DQ... next saturday we can trade players from the computer pool so it is best that any newcomer come and choose your team before that.
