The old Mi service outlet at Low Yat Plaza closed down.
There's a new one on the same floor (4th)...it's tiny and seems to be an authorized service outlet, not owned by Mi.

I went there to ask if they sold the BM42 battery for my old Note 3G...no luck. They don't sell spare parts, and that battery is long out of production

I remember when the Note 3G first came out...there was a big issue about yellow screens too...something about the glue holding the digitizer from the lcd screen together, it was coming apart, causing the yellowish cast. Fortunately my unit was not affected. Hope your 5 gets repaired fast.
