On the dash board beside the speedometer is a small screen.
It is too small for me to see when reverse.
In Japan they have the cable to connect to HU, to mirror the small screen.

Dunno how true but TCM having big issues delivering cars to branch and dealers.
Allocation all screw up.

Don't confuse with the odometer or odograph measuring the distance travelled by a vehicle which is quite accurate.

For c27 odometer I’m not sure how it is determined via transmission or the wheel rotation.

Like the C26? Not possible cos the floor railings are different.

Last week, saw 4 units of std variant being tinted and coated, no registration plates also. Was told these was booked in early May ... so go figure.
Not sure about the premium variant cos these wont be at the tint shop.

think it is to cut the UV and Infrared and JPJ approved?

I prefer reduction in infrared & UV rather than dark.
Dark tint absorb heat and makes your glass very hot to touch.

If it is too light you can get screens or add a darker tint on top of existing film.
Remove screens are easier when kena JPJ or police summon or kacau.

All place have GPS but some how if it rains heavily the phone GPS unable to work.
Where as my dedicated Garmin works.
HU have external GPS antenna?

Better buy screen. cheaper and wont damage/void the tint.

Depends on your requirements like mirror the small screen / steering control / waze / read hard disk.....

To fit in the existing hole, any model as long as "Toyota 200" spec.

The clarion head unit is not suitable for the No1 popular vehicle in Japan.
Such inferior HU in a high tech car.
Seriously one of the numerous bad decisions by Tan Chong.
If you have the means, do upgrade it.
