MY is CKD and got tax incentive, if RM 160K same spec from japan, it is still attractive

in reality it is not possible same spec as japan because different country different law..
hopefully remain same price around 140-150k with attractive spec and gift (such as the 'small table' put in the car boot)

More security features pls, mpv is a family car.. The back switch to open side door, cam it be turn off? Imagine back row,normally kids sits, press that button when the car is moving.

this segment for 160K in Malaysia will never work. compare to HK, the price is attractive, everything in HK is expensive. I don't think we will have a lot of high tech toys like they have in Japan but we will have more than HK or equivalent. (this is from my research and Malaysia marketing point of view after seeing how TCM sells their specs, no doubt I not able to confirm and who knows TCM making major marketing breakthru.)

I think TCM will stick back to S26 price for S27, maybe slightly higher for first batch (if not they wouldn't give so much rebate on this S26 model if S27 price is higher than it a lot)

agree with u..i guess our Malaysia spec most likely the same with HK spec. JPN's tech n stuff are abit over and if TCM going to price it like current c26..then its big bonus

At the moment, for me in terms of

exterior - passed
6 SRS airbags - passed

innova is more compact.. but given the budget 120k, i will go for exora although its national brand (*im currently driving exora)

both no sliding doors, seats are foldable and flat, 2nd row airconds, turbo, etc..not much difference but just the logo but one thing proton parts are cheaper

unless TCM wanted to compete with Mr.Honta & Mr.Tolota but both mid MPV can't compete yet because this segment for model sparta & noah is not in Malaysia (*yet, maybe just don't), then will be benefit from it otherwise dream on

dont think stepwagon n noah will be in Msia..otherwise H or T's compact suv like CHR and BRV/HRV will die straight straight

but chr, brv n hrv are totally different segment. they got no sliding, 8 seats and price difference. even brv can seat 8 but very tight.. unless compete with inova but no sliding door..
