Hi guys i recently moved to a new house and brought my beloved S2216H monitor with me. However upon reassembling my rig, i saw some stain/scratches on my monitor. Since the monitor was manufactured in Feb 2017 and i bought it(thru lazada) last May, i guess its still under one year limited advance exchange service? Is it cover under warranty? Can i change with a newer monitor?

At first i thought its a scratch then i put some peanut butter and it kinda disappeared abit, so i thought maybe its some sticky residue from the duct tape packaging? Idk what it is. Help guys.

What should i do? And will Dell services help me in this?

I don't think scratch or break is under warranty cover but you can try. Sometimes Dell service very kind.

You ask here nobody can help you, you just need to try deal with Dell.

Just said you not sure why it sudden appear the scratch there. If you said you notice the scratch during moving sure you won't get exchange.

Keep calling is the only choice and before talk, think 1st. The reply is very important. Sometimes we had no choice to be a little bit tricky. I believe you know what I mean. Sorry teaching you bad thing, Haha!

Yeah and however i also saw my color reproduction is a bit off during the color test(Dell support wants me to do the test). So i think most probably i will indeed get the exchange, but yeah, words are everything. Thanks!
