Just came back from Genting. Uphill was a breeze. Meanwhile i could see a Toyota camry 2.4 and Ford ranger trying to catch with me with their loud roaring engine. When going downhill, my battery only left 7%. So i switch to Charge mode and by the time i reach the bottom hill, the battery was charge up to 84%, lol..

I didnt speed alot when going uphill coz my car have 5 adults and 4 toddlers, haihzz.. I wanted my brother in law to drive one more car but my mother in law insist on driving just one car. But i did overtake a few cars when going uphill using sports mode coz the suspension not so soft when taking corners. But when i go downhill, i used comfort coz too many speed humps. Most of the time i use comfort but when i on highway and feel like overtaking others or been tailgate, i will use sports mode.

I mostly use sports mode when i drive alone. Very responsive and less floaty. It will affect your FC coz it uses petrol. But driving experience is awesome. U should give a try when u wana do spirited driving and overtaking. My wife charge the car everyday.
I didnt notice the clicking sound on my steering wheel though.

I also not sure how it works but when u switch to Sports mode, u can feel it is more responsive. Probably due to the high torque. I also cannot feel the power difference when using charge mode or hybrid mode together with Sports mode. But i think Sports + Charge will consume more petrol.

The new A class is coming. Looks awesome. Why not wait for that one?

I see. My aunty just bought a pre-register A250 ckd 5 months ago. So far didnt heard any negative feedback from her.
To me, warranty is important coz my car have so many electronic features so i have no choice but to stick to their service center during the warranty period.
Any idea where u plan to service your car?

She bought the car early this year. Due to its a pre-registered car, the manufacturing date of the car should be last year. She purchased from either Cycle and Carriage (C&C) or Hap Seng Star (HSS) and is still under warranty. So she should be servicing in C&C/HSS SC. I havent heard any bad feedback yet coz the car is still relatively new. She and I haven't service the car yet coz we bought around the same time.

I think u can consider pre-registered cars coz it is cheaper. Some conditions are quite ok with low mileage. Most important it is still covered under warranty and some extend 1 more year warranty. U can have a peace of mind compare to recon cars.

Wow, tats terrible especially for a new car. Hopefully the SC can fix all these issues. Do they lend u a spare car since its in the SC for two weeks?

I remember during CNY, i stopped over at a petrol station on the kesas highway around dawn, a CLA200 parked beside my car. A guy around his 20's who was the driver came out. Then a man who i believe to be his father or father in law came out from the passenger seat. Then 3 more adults (2 teenager girls and an aunty) came out from the rear door. During that time, i wonder how they can sit comfortably at the rear seats because they looks like they are going on a long trip. When i reach Penang in the morning, i saw the car in Penang again. Really salute them!

Even u adjust the seats still give u back pain problem?

Really tat serious? So far i never hear anyone complain about the Merc seats before. I never drove CLA before so i unable to give feedback. I just notice the seats are different between the CLA and C class.

If after a few days, u still feel pain, I think u better see doctor or traditional urut. Sometimes is something causes the back pain, then it becomes worst when u drive the car. Hopefully it is not your car seat that causes the back pain. Because it is costly to change your current new car to another car due to car seats. Btw, how long do u drive for each trip?

Good news for those who wana install front facing child car seats in the rear middle seats. U can use the rear middle top tether anchor because it is actually there. U just need to open up the cover.

Imagine the e250 is due for servicing and u still haven't received your car. Then u bring the e250 for servicing I wonder how the SC customer service officer's face looks like when he understands your situation, lol..

But i doubt u will encounter this kind of situation. They probably switch you another car.

Are u referring to dashcam?

The warranty for the a200 2014 should be almost over. U should be quite aware of the merc servicing cost since u have a w205 at home. Where do u plan to service this a200 2014?
