I look for weakness on current price move or look for a retracement of current move. My goal is to keep the trade open as little tine as possible(but not scalping).  I mainly monitor 6 pairs(2 main and 4 backups). Main pair is gold and geppy. 4 trades a week. 20-80 pips target with stop loss around 30-60 pips. Lot will be dynamic depends on setup quality.

Entry based on PA, CS PATTERN, CHART PATTERN and DOM understanding
*
at which point you decided that the retracement has ended and warrants a technical continuation trigger?

how do you ensure that trades are open as little time as possible as it's the market that dictate the movements.

noticed your risk reward ratio is unconventionally about 1, how do you intend to make it up with high win rate?

do you move SL and TP dynamically or it's fix until either one filled?

thanks in advance for your clarification.

Based on my DOM understanding and CS pattern.

TP and sl is dynamic depends on momentum that I think based on my forecast.
*
sorry do u mind to clarify what is DOM and CS? i am sure many would have asked too.

I’ve posted myfxbook link. Scroll few pages back. I’ve been struggling for 5 years and I’ve been using this same method for 3 years(but I only managed to consistent th last 5 months). Previously use FBS broker then I moved to icm for better spread and execution.
*
why 3 years same method and only consistent for last 5 months?

i mean why did u go on for 3 years if it didn't produce the results you wanted?

Lol. Why? To improve the technique, the more you train the better you are to filter out which works and which doesn’t? Do you trade? How long? What strategy you use?

It’s like asking why a snooker player practicing same shot everyday
*
have you thought perhaps market changed? as you mentioned you use retracement and i believe it's a trend following system, but to see why it didn't work for past 3 years and start working in past 5 years is rare.

Anyway let’s not talk about my technique, let’s talk about the main idea of becoming the trade provider in myfxbook. Want to see if anyone achieve it. Cheers
*
wouldn't the idea of making consistent trade profits grossly outweighs commission from signal providing? how would the reverse be true?

I am making consistent profit now. Do you even see the illustration from the snapshot? For 250 provider and 65% of win rate out of 100 trades you may(just may) earn like 25k usd?
*
no idea how to conclude an 25k income for providing signal...

If it meets your set up just go for it and follow your rules.

I just don't trade news (not all) and reversal, it a big downtrend over there on D1 timeframe.

How many signal you get per day?

I just need 20-30 min a day before US market closed and only trade daily timeframe. I just don't want to waste my time on chart just like I'm starting trade forex many years ago.
*
usually ard 3 depending on news.

yeah, learning forex is a big time drainer, it might take decades of your life away and yet losing money, talk about risky business.

I am starting to scale-in longs in GBPCHF again. (Those who are still holding longs in this region  or from above should not add more here. It’s better to wait for a new low.) Just my views. GL.

Btw, I am keeping an eye on GBPCAD too. Hopefully we get a new low with a nice convergence pattern. smile.gif

prefer GBPCAD for reversal trade.
