FF 57 surely is faster then previous version.
Noscript still working to make new version compatible with FF 57.
Although the default FF57 is already somewhat secure, you can make it more secure if you tinker with about:config or prefs.js/user.js.
You can also disable all those unneeded feature build-in plugins such as Pocket, Web Compat, Form Autofill, Follow-on Search Telemetry etc.

Chrome for me is still a joke web browser. Straight throw it into the dustbin.

You can start with this. https://github.com/dfkt/firefox-tweaks/

There are many tech sites that offer up the same level or even beyond Tor Browser security level. It's your own choice what matters the most for you and how you use the browser and for what purpose.

Power users should look up vivaldi browser, loads of gamechanging features srs and runs on chromium means you can install chrome extensions and mess around with ://flags experiments

The last snapshot update (equivalent to chrome canary) made noticeable improvement to startup

Vivaldi made up of team behind old Opera.

Currently my primary browser, quite liking it.

As far as I know none can beat the DownThemAll. None yet has ability to add thread, no pause and resume sad.gif

i can't make new tab preference setting persistence set after restart FQ and PC. alrdy give feedback to teams dev. And my html5 suttering, and Flash base site suffer major suttering.

no need to tinker much about:config for this.

Can't show cuz not at home lol. But it's largely stock, tab stacking is really handy, and used a bit of note pad at the side panel.

Most importantly, i use allmangasreader, which used to be ok on chrome until chrome decides to fuck it up. That's when i heard about vivaldi, and boy it's a joy. Long time ago, Opera was my favourite browser too before they changed and became sucky, feels good to have Vivaldi.
