MacOS X Security Update 2007-004, any problems?

anyone installed this update and has problems??

i installed this update on my macbook and ever since, my macbook fan has been running on maximum......i am not using the SMC fan controller thingy.....

the only changes i made to my mac is i added a wireless mighty mouse to it.....

anyone has similar problems??

i've just install 2 hours ago. No problems whatsoever.

However, I do run SMC fan control.

No problems here either, just took awhile to restart, thats usual for all Security Updates.

yeah....it took a while to restart.....that's the norm.....

but my fan has been spinning like crazy......and i only have Mail and Safari running...........

kinda funny.....

nvm, i'll monitor it for a while, and see how things go......

monitor ur temperature 1st. See if the fan is running as fast as it should...

Just like anyone else, the update works fine with my small little 1.25ghz Mac Mini... I don't think the fan should be a problem, but if it's acting weird, maybe you can try calling Apple and see what they tell you.

installed yesterday this update: all OK here no problems at all..

running: macbook pro 15" 2.33ghz version with 160gb drive.. rest stock. if that interests you. smile.gif

 

Change to:
