Whoa, hope they have a small screen and a pocket-based Linux for the greatest portable times!
Uh... maybe it uses an AC adapter too... |

this is pico ITX not pico ATX.
the unit may be small, but the price will be very high. check on the price of nano-itx, this is really for hardcore and huge wallet enthusiasts |

A small review about this form factor here and Via's official web site.
QUOTE In terms of I/O, the list is exceptionally long for such a small footprint: 4 USB 2.0, 1 COM, 1 PS2, 1 LVDS/DVI, 1 multimedia for TV/out, 1 audio for line-out/line-in, mic-in, optical-in, and 7.1 channel output, RJ-45 LAN, VGA . The actual I/O back plate of course can't offer all of that, most are available via pin headers on the board, just like the EPIA NL model. Only the VT6106S 10/100 ethernet and the VGA port are on the I/O plate. I would bet that it will have at least 8 layers. This leads me to think that the rumored price of US$250 is not terribly realistic. The EPIA N and NL (Nano-ITX) boards cost between USD$320-350, so I'd expect the EPIA PX models, the first Pico-ITX motherboards, to be around the same price, especially upon first release.
