bristleback is a total ownage of a tank..only that he has no CC spells. CC(Crowd control) unlike centaur,magnataur,axe those...

His quill spray can deal insanely high damage and his damage reduction from his third skill is wayy too imbalance.

Must be axe what, only hero with a taunt skill that forces enemies to attack him. Else just forget the tanker lar, go blink behind and kill some of those taufu int heroes. Tanking in dota doesn't normally work imo, just ask your team to aim for the high dmg dealers first.

abaddon would b my first choice if i hav 2 choose a tanker..

Remember Tanking is not about killing heroes or 1 man army. its about capable of going infront and take all the beating for your allys.

My votes goes to Treant Protector.

As he has does nasty base damage and have very high hp. his root armor pratically gives a free plate mail. providing him +10 armor thoughout the game.

If you have atleast 1 Heart Of taraque, if you are wounded you can just cast nature guise, hide 1 corner then get back to action.

2nd will be Pudge.

if you play your cards right, you can pratically have near godlike hp. You just have to be good with last kills.

if you gotten 2 Heart of taraque or a few ring of health, you can rot and heal in 1 go.

Abbandon is good also but Imo Abbadon feels more like a good escaper than a tanker. Cos Abbandon use his abiltiy to escape GB than actually get into battle.

Last goes to Centaur. Lvl 3 ulit = free reaver. get a plate mail and dagger. you are ready to jump into the fray.

The art of tanking is simple.. guts, You must be willing to jump into the battle and bite the bullet. Cos whe you time it wrongly your team will fail.

I dont find Axe a really good tanker. He has alot of limitation. I think he lack the HP.

Overall Axe imo feels more to an anti agi and an anti intel hero. since they dont have alot of hp so axe can strike them with ulit with just a few roars.

But if axe vs treant protector, i would say axe would win cause he still has the counter which treant lack. Even with his ultimate the oponent still can cast magic.......

I dont think enchant is a good tanker. Depend on situation. She can't tank at all if opponent alot of nuker like lina, lion ........Her hp damn low also.

of cos if opponent are those meele hero, range and non spell caster hero, would be efficient for her.

for me,
i will say SK(soul keeper)
when fight, just click meta + non stop pressing button C.(1 hero --> 2 tanker)
when life near die, press button R to ultil wit any hero tat was full life or sunder wit self image.(another tanker agian)

range tanker will better than melee tanker.

I personally think that blink dagger for axe is a waste. Yup, there are ppl using it. If you really want chasing machanism, boot of travel, or mask is in better position.
Just like buying a blink dagger on ursa compare to boot of travel. Bot did a better job.

Nope, personally if Axe can tank up to 3 heroes... And also kill all of them... His counter attack I think is ignoring armor defense.

So from what i think Axe+blink dagger is a good combination. Axe is a good tanker but for 5 seconds of his first skill. Fix him with some heart and Assassin curaiss... He will be godlike...

axe with dagger is better. u cant suprise enemy with bot. if people see u coming, they can stun, hex or wateva. with dagger, straight blink and use skill. 80% of the time u will succeed.

agree with bristleback, he's da best tanker with some hearts, btw, don use tiny to tank, ever notice his armor?

she can outtank most of the str hero with her mana shield.

bristleback is the best tank i ever used, plus the damage reduction helps a lot
but playing axe is more fun, the counter helix is damned good, triggered when there's an intent of attack.. hehe draining hp like crazy n end the misery with the infamous culling blade~ but kinda weak against mass stunners n nukers, too bad only roshan can provide aegis

This is nonsense. do u know what a tanker is? Tanker is the 1 who goes into the battle first and eat damage most of the damage. how can bb be a tanker? he can only tank with his back is facing the opponents. Dont tell me during team fight, u wanna face ur back to ur opponent and do nothing than spraying? if the opponents were smart, they will ignore u and wack ur teammates. IMO, he is good at running away and not a TANKER.

first time i heard people said that bb is a "good at running away" hero. BB is the best tanker + killer I've ever played. speed + spray + slow + damage reduction, what other hero can be as gay as bb? you just need life + life steal and all you need to do is spray your way in n wack!! during most of the competition, BB is the hero that will decide your fate, ie ACG where China team won the competition. never underestimate the power of bb, n remember, don't ever "ignore" him in a fight.

THis is a real joke. Do u think tat ur opponent ll just let u spray and wack them all the way and not retaliate? 4 example, skeleton king vs bb? who ll win? i chose sk cause he is a str hero. i doubt tat sk ll even need reincarnation to beat bb.
sides r oni 20 percent but if u were charging towards ur opponents, u would be facing ur front to ur opponents and not ur back or side.

I will not state more but pls watch the tournament replay. I am bold enough to state that BB is the most favourite hero among others during competition.

as for bb vs sk, i cannot say that BB will definitely win as sk has life steal, stun and critical. BUT, imagine BB with heart and manta, who will win? I believe you will then say: "yea right! when BB got those items, SK can have Divine!!" Mind you, bb has got the most powerful skill to farm and harass: the spray. you chose SK because he's a strength hero, what about BB? is he INT or AGI??

1) Try persuade those players to pick SK over BB in a competition and let me know the outcome.
2) Try to play team game, not too much PUB game where only solo skill is needed.
