My brightness setting are fine.
occasionally my pc would crash and reboot itself.
when on the Brightness of screen becomes to bright (very annoying to look at)
sometimes i would need restart/shutdown/ or go safe mode.
how do i fix this? is there any setting ? or better how to prevent this?
using GTX 1050 (hdmi to vga converter) monitor viewsonic (VGA) old school.

Cause of crash?
Kalau power surge the electronics may be affected.

Format the pc and if possible don't use VGA. They is differences on output quality using digital cable. For example DP, HDMI or DVI.

Monitor won't make your PC crash. If your PC occasional crash means something wrong on it. Changing monitor won't fix this issue. The easier way to settle it is format the PC rather than check one by one the root cause. It is hard to know unless you had idea when it start crashing to retified it.
