sometimes 3rods happens cause the power adaptor itself...not because of the console...

it happen to my friend xbox360...the main plug at his house got some probs...so when he turn on his 360 got the 3ROD because the adaptor cant receive enough power to turn on the Xbox360...

when he called the electricians to came over and repair the main plung and etc....after that he just give a try to turn on and play the 360....walla 100% okey and seems no problem until now...

3ROD flashing sometimes not because of the console....general hardware failure...can be the adaptor itself...

did ur others xbox360 game have the same probs ( hang ) when u play it?

if not i think may be the virtua tennis 3 CD`s...
