I'm interested to buy a property at subang jaya selangor area as investment/to rent out/future maybe move in stay...here is my idea:
- I'm from outstation but interested to own a property in kl. Choose subang jaya because it's lower cost as kl area too expensive for a small space. I don't mind out of city as I prefer bigger space home and I think subang jaya is not bad...near airport...got sunward pyramid mall...lrt mrt convenient ...etc...
*Subang Jaya is a good place to stay, if you don't mind the sometimes bad traffic congestion but overall, a nice place to stay. It's not exactly near the airport (note: old airport), it takes close to 30 - 45 minutes drive (depending on which part of Subang Jaya you are coming from.
*don't be fooled though, property prices in Subang Jaya isn't that "cheap" as well, probably the saving grace is that the living costs in Subang Jaya is still deemed "affordable".
I aim apartment and 5 storey the most....got facilities and security guard....I'm aim to settle off the house loan ASAP eg 5-10yrs...maybe will eventually move in and settled down there...
I'm bored staying at one place my whole life so I see this as a staycation or start new life here in future...kl is more fun and interesting to me....
*as far as I know, most of the 5 storeys apartment in Subang Jaya are already very old and most of them are not very properly maintained, (Pangsapuri Jati 1, Goodyear courts; just to name a few)
*my advice, if you don't plan to settle down in Subang Jaya then don't invest there because Subang Jaya is already filled with residential projects and with so many upcoming projects, you will definitely find a difficult time trying to sell it at a good price, what more if it is an old and poorly maintained development.
3. What is the pros and cons of living in subang jaya or selangor area? The living standard, cost, convenience, difficulties...The majority of race...can expect more Chinese population? Not to be racist here...just trying to understand and expectations of social circle....etc
*I have resided in Klang, Subang Jaya and now Puchong (long enough) to be able to give you a rough idea the lifestyle there and the costs itself.
*Subang Jaya is mostly densed with Chinese and Malay, Indians are the minority. Costs of living is affordable whereby you can still eat a proper meal for one at below RM7.00.
*Puchong is not far away from Subang Jaya but the demographics are populated with Indians and then seconded with Chinese.
I know is lengthy here but I have no idea at all....
Thanks...
