Hello Wifi_One ... as promised, I will tembak you pic-by-pic but before that I will post some T&C : In no way I am attacking the model, she looks good but I will only concentrate in helping you to IMPROVE for now :

Pic 7 - I dunno what the heck is that, what the image is trying to convey and what the model wanna express. Seems like she's giving the expression of "Cheh! Holansi-meh, I go there slap you then you know!" tongue.gif

Pic 8 - With a huge escalator cuting thru the back of her head and she about to insert a chopstick into her nose? Wh...what does that shot trying to convey? hmm.gif

Pic 9 - So she's a smoker? Or she's taking a break during the shoot? Either way you need to work on the image to make it contain some impact.

Pic 10 - She blinked when you took that shot? hmm.gif

Pic 11 - Blur shot and overexposed ... and her laced bra is showing thru her top. Never post these kinda shots, there's no meaning to it. Post processing didn't help much either.

These are not '2 Cents' ... these are advice given from my experience as a model photographer and the MAIN idea of shooting a model is to make her LOOK GOOD. Failed that and you fail the entire attempt of shooting her in the first place. Take these comments casually and practice more.

Practice makes perfect nod.gif

wah sifu has spoken already... thanks for the advices... me also startes trying out different subject shooting...

what i found out shooting people compared to still object is .... it much more difficult to get the right shot at the right time.. looks lke i still got to practice more and more.... lol

yaya.... that lansi pic i asked her to epxress lansi .. like boh chap f&%^ u attitude.. kekeke...

most of the shot i posted are actually not perfect.. most of them are blur in ori form.. i was hoping to post process them into usable shot... kekekeke still learning to ho cover up blur n out of focus shots.. kekekeke those usable no need edit so much...

any ideas on how to touch up unsable shot to become usable? i was testing out sephia (most of the pics) to c whether can 'disguise' them into usable work of art.. lol....

The concept of still life and portraiture is two different animal. One requires precise metering and focus and the other requires good composition and exposure, not that one is more superior that the other but you have to put more effort in them.

Expression is very important in model shoots, it's above good compo and even exposure. A model can screw up her own image just by making a wrong move, the smoking one is a good example. One look and ppl won't know that it's a candid shot of her really smoking or it's just a contructed pose. You have to be careful what you shoot and what you wanna show your viewers.

Lastly, dun disguise your bad shots, make good ones on-the-spot. Like they always say ... get it right the first time, dun turn shit into gold.

You guys wanna see strong expression? Check out Radical's pics, he shot his own girl all the time : Coordination bagus, expression superb, posing good ... learn from him. And she's not even a model.

Correct me if I am wrong, Radical.
