can't use my desktop

When i turned on my computer, i tried to click on some icon on my desktop but there's no response from it, i can't even right click on the desktop. Everything except for those on my desktop is normal.
As is there's a blanket covering my desktop blocking me from accessing the desktop and those on it. Can someone help me with this? Could it be a virus? |
