hmmm i think aurora u shud try the dramatic shots like focus on some bits r out of focus n some are in focus those stuff....like u press the shutter button halfway then move ur cam abit 2 make stuffs abit out of focus.....

shud be able to aurora......but the 2 things must be quite far apart....ie....a flower n a blurred tree further behind....pns can do that.....kenot if taking 2 flowers from the same hedge.....thats 2 close 2 each other

n yea shooting against a strong lightsource like the sun...its better 2 use flash....

exopure adjustments usually make the parts with light colors look abit fake....well tahts wat i feel tho...
