Mobile Outfitter so expensive, RM200+ when i checked in Pavi. it does not even fully cover the bottom. i have used and am going to use again Bestskinsever. it sticks properly and according to the cutout with good precision. didn't peel off at all. i love the matte option as it feels really good.

Bestskinsever provides 2 further options; case friendly or full wrap. the case friendly is merely a skin for the back portion only and does not cover the sides, top and bottom which is more compatible with cases. the full wrap on the other hand wraps the whole phone except the front. the full wrap may not play nice with some cases due to the added thickness on the sides, top and bottom. but if you're lucky sometimes it fits.

Eh Apple Online's delivery date moved from 5/12 to 29/11, a week earlier than they mentioned. Anyone else got the notification?

Definitely one of the strangest experience buying the iPhone X via Apple Online; not only did the time it was sold was way off tangent at 9am compared to previous timings at between 2am - 3am, the website did not jam at all and the transaction was buttery smooth compared to back then where we had to try over and over again until it got through. And to add to that, they even sped up the delivery date to 1 week earlier with the phone expected to arrive next Wednesday. And my case is not due to reach here until mid December..

bro it's a lot cheaper if you buy a skin online (Dbrands, Bestskinsever, etc) than to wrap at Mobile Outfitters which would cost RM200+. Also, their skin does fully cover the bottom; it cuts off at the speaker grill whereas those skins online would cover the whole bottom with exact cutouts for the speaker grills. exact as in they have individual hole cutouts instead of a big cutout

after randomly going into stores just for fun, it seems that the 256gb is sold out most of the time compared to the 64gb. so it seems people are getting the 256gb, or that they just have a lot of 64gb stocks

Oh sorry sis. Am doing exactly the same thing as i have done before and after reading more on the vulnerable sides the stainless steel has. But the challenge here is whether or not your phone would fit your case with your wrap on. Some cases have a very tight fit, and due to the skin's slightly added thickness, it may not fit.

the case that i will be using has rubber edges inside that allows some slight expansion, so mine should be sorted. Therefore, if you choose to wrap your phone and put a case on it, be sure to identify its tightness through videos online or through forumers' experience here

Please note that some skins takes up to two weeks for delivery so weigh your options carefully; a) buy skin/wrap for better coverage at a cheaper price but have to wait for 1-2 weeks, or b) use Mobile Outfitter for immediate service but at more than double the price of an online skin

very strange that the exact opposite is happening and more people are buying the 256gb model haha

yes Bestskinsever cost about RM60+ for the full matte wrap whereas Mobile Outfitters is about RM200+. but it takes 7-10 business days to deliver and you have to apply it on your own (don't worry as the process is actually quite simple with online videos as guidance) whereas Mobile Outfitters are ready and they can apply for you on the spot.

but it depends on your concern; the back or the sides. if your concern is just the back, then you can get the back-only skin that will only cover the back glass panel. the back-only is the most case-friendly version and widely compatible compared to the full wrap. if you are not too worried about the sides, then better for you to just get the back-only skin

the main concern is the sides though, as it is more susceptible to scratches compared to the back. but only if they are really nit picky. if not, then actually no need to get a sp for the back glass as the glass back would already be protected in a case

anyone knows why Apple Malaysia would need to ship their stock from Singapore to China and then only to Malaysia rather than ship to Malaysia directly?

i checked the tracking number they gave me and the same thing happened back then with my iPhone 6; they would ship from Singapore to Shenzhen, then only to Malaysia. both was ordered via Apple Malaysia. would take 1-3 days from delivery date or in total 4-5 days to reach from order date (delivery date would be later than order date)

Oh the order goes to Shenzhen? meaning the phone would still come from Singapore? But why must the order go to Shenzhen bro?
