it doesn't protect your phone if it dropped.
once simple drop 1k gone, 1 dent, few hundreds lower during resell, and also harder to sell (u are not only competing with others iphone seller, but also others android phone where a few k they can get a brand new phone).
best to get a full covered casing for ur 6k phone.
I have seen a person with a brand new iphone (day 2 of launching, with broken screen) choosing casing and screen protector in Machines.
His face is totally pale..

i believe tmr can walk in to machines/mac studio/switches to buy.

simple review for the phone (from a perspective of iPhone 7 owner)
Face Id - work surprising well. it's fast, made me forget about Touch ID
lock screen notification - hidden in default, i have chosen to enable it
weight - my previous phone is ip 7, so i can definitely feel the weight of this phone. It's heavier.
size - ip 7 still easier to hold, hard for me to handle the phone with one hand.
camera - front and back are so much better than ip 7.
slide up for home - get used to it within one day, no longer missing the home
button.
screen - so much clearer. However, i have turn off the true tone display.

Casing - make sure you buy a fully covered casing, and make sure the corner of the case is thin. Dont go for slim type
Tempered glass - can go for fully covered type (which has black "frame" around the tempered glass)
Wireless charger - still loooking for value for money brand. Pls recommend if you know


Overall I am happy with this phone.
However, 5-6k for a phone is really too much
