I paid 3.1k to upgrade from 7+, never happy than what I have now among 10 iPhones I own in 10 years time. Face ID, camera, OLED, gesture control and wireless charging are my major like for this upgrade from 7+

I’d suggest you to hold on first, delivery times might improve especially when we know that there are still stocks available.

Thanks for the suggestion bro. I am thinking to get Maxis set because I will sign up with their Maxis One 128 Plan anyway (long time user of this plan). So, thought if i can get a cheaper phone with their subsidy, since we dont get much subsidy on petrol anymore.... sweat.gif

Let see if I can get one during their pre-order. If can get, I will go and cancel my SG set....hehehe... biggrin.gif

Get a GST claim to compensate the price different, make sure you don't buy online at Apple Store 1st if you intend to claim GST. From my CC chargers, it cost me >RM6k for 256GB. So MYS cheaper in this case

Only Telcos have preorders. We dont have a physical Apple Store over here. So even if apple did come up with a preroder, where do we collect?

Right. Same here I've also been using almost all the iterations of iphones there are and have been upgrading every year.
But this time the choice is rather tough as it is a whopping >5k for the X.
The 7+ is serving me well but of course, who is not tempted with the X with all that bells and whistles. That gorgeous bezelless 5.8" screen.

Would probably get one when I make a trip to HK next month.brows.gif

My CIMB card conversion rate was about 3.178, price in MYR is RM6000.80.

For 8, reseller like Switch actually put preorder so you can collect the phone from the branches or deliveries

Hope X will be the same

Its a much smaller phone compared to the 7+. Most important, the bezels are way way way smaller than the ones on the 7+ which makes the phone look sleek and modern like all flagships should look like. It would definately fit a girl's smaller palms unlike the 7+ which is wide. Even the Note 8 which is a bit taller is easier to hold and grip compared to the 7+ because it is not so "wide". You will immediately feel the lack of the home button during initial use but you will be able to live without it after a day or two usage. The top panel 'cut off' is a bit 'weird' but you will get used to having a section of your app/game missing or blackened out.

All in all, it is a must buy for all Apple fans like yourself.

Oh yeah, the 7+ looks like a slab of brick compared to the X.  sweat.gif

Well I've decided not to get either the MY or SG set.
But since the HK one is about RM 500 cheaper (and I happen to visit there next month) I will definitely go for it. Depends on luck if there will be stock available then.

Just becareful about telco Pre-order. Doesn’t mean u will get on launch date. Gone through too many years of telco Pre-order and hoohaa. Later bright star dunno send to which Holland address again.
