Transaction went through without the need to sign

Tried to use at Kinokuniya @ KLCC today but didn't work. When I mentioned Samsung Pay the cashier asked which card; Visa or Master. Then when I tapped my phone on the terminal it didn't beep or anything. He helped to try again and also put my phone on top of the terminal but still nothing happened. In the end had to use physical card for wave. I think it was a PBB terminal.

Funny thing is, in the Samsung Pay app it listed Kinokuniya as a Pay friendly merchant.

I have said the highest failure rate of samsung pay is pbb followed by hong leong bank.

PBB terminal is hard to operate.
The blue light indicator of wave input needs to be on for successful attempt.

How come offline transaction not recorded at the cc page.

I've used at mst terminal but it ask for sec code..it only allow 3 digit..what's code is that.

server problem this 2 days, i have 3 unrecorded transactions

Could it be the cvv code as some terminals do ask for that? I personally haven't encountered one yet.

Make sure you keep your transaction receipt. If you still don't get your points later, you can email my.samsungpay@samsung.com.

macdonald centre point dont accept samsung pay today. Lucky got passenger if not i drive off.

Seem like today still got problem with server... this morning tried... no recorded transaction at all even at cc...

I have questioned them using Samsung app.
They said server having problem.

3 of my transaction not recorded..2 from mcd centrepoint.

So I want to ask..sometimes I forgot to turn on my data plan and I make a transaction..do I get my points later then?

Or I have to email them the receipt to get my points.

Yes samsung pay is not like android pay and apple pay.

You can use on any credit card machine except some terminal are not supported or able detect


Points as long as its made through your phone samsung pay you will get points.
