quite true, but not for unit above 8th floor. For 8th floor and above, your main door will be the one that had a overall biggest view. So it also mean that the main door could be your balcony in fengshui. Eh i'm not asking you to jump from ur balcony ehehe.

example.

The condo building is facing west, but you stay in 10th floor, your main door face east, but you had a blocked view such as a pillar in the middle, for alternative you could take your balcony as a main door to get the facing direction, u'll need to draft out the floor plan and apply flying star method. From there onward you'll be able to put in remedies, fix, or enhancement.

hehe lot's of other stuff need to include also ... ur personal "kua" number for best direction in sleep, work and etc. Also not to forget your own 8 pillar, once you got your self element .. den u get the basic idea on how to decorate ur house..

eg - a weak/ yin water person would like something blue to enhance it's own self element to enable them to control their wealth element which is fire, such as painting ur living room lite blue would be nice.

But things are diffrent for strong self element person. Eg- yang water person would not like to get any stronger .. so a exhausting element / color will be used .. such as lite green for living room. (green = wood) wood exhaust water. In feng shui we are talking about balance and harmony. over flown with one particular element is suicide. hehehe

haha i think u better find someone with proper knowledge to analyze ur 8 pillar, i'm not qualify to do so. To find out your own element, you'll need your time of birth, day, month and year. As for compatibility issue .. i believe we need to work thing out lar, if your gf element destroy you, it dosent mean you cant marry her, you'll just need to workout just a lil bit harder to enjoy a good relationship or marriage.
