Very interested awhile back until I read enough review to point out that it has a rather veiled sound signature and requires a lot of EQ to be enjoyable. That's kind of the same reason that stops me from getting the iSine. Shame really.

I dont really mind it though, even the jvc ha sz 1000 need to be tamed... but if its gonna be uncomfortable to be use, that is certainly a deal breaker...still waiting for zeos review..

I prefer a handful of headphones at a cheaper price over isine 20. I am not sure about the m300 though.

i dont know about owning lot of driver, rather have one really good one and a back up pair, doesnt hurt trying new iem but if you save up the iem spending, u might even afford high end iem.. based on the review, isine20 might not worth the shot, i`d rather have triple or quad, heck even more BA driver,
but based on on some review, even if u get 4+++ driver they tend to suffer distortion on which planar doesnt get affect easily.. so i am really looking forward for m300 review and black friday.. drool.gif drool.gif

Yup. It is still new to the market. With all the hype of planar in ear headphones, people will buy the m300 sooner or later and the review will be up then. Especially with the upcoming black friday.

Several cm square of driver surface bottlenecked out to roughly several mm square nozzle outlet. Like listening to speakers through a tissue roll.

All is not lost, I heard that due to massive driver and housing, u can feel the bass rumble in ur ear and on ur ear where the housing made contact... wonder if people will make a wood housing for these...

That's never an issue for my Stax SRS-002.

If the flare has been properly made and any phase issues addressed, it actually helps with efficiency. By having it compress against an air load (from the restricting nozzle), the sound pressure can transition better from the transducer to the air. This is especially beneficial with bass.

The veiled sound might be that phase issue I mentioned. Compression horns usually have phase plugs to ensure that all the sound waves are directed out the nozzle and none gets reflected back and cancelling out.
