Game should only be reviewed when they are played not imagined.

Why criticise something when you have not even try it yet (who know got extra surprises in store)
I agree.
Personally I couldn't give a toss about all of the flack FO3 is getting.
I have fond memories of FO1/2, but I'm going to treat this as a game that just happens to be in a post apocalyptic environment and judge it on it's own merit.
I am cringing at the thought of having the repetitive Oblivion voice actors in the game, I hope their levelling mechanics make sense this time, I hope they don't break the story continuity with their sandbox world, I'm hoping that VATs is a balanced tool and not overpowering, I'm hoping the battles don't turn into something from Doom or Painkiller. I'm hopeful they didn't screw the pooch on this one.
Since this is supposedly a smaller world, they may have spent more time crafting it. Oblivion while great when you started stopped being fun once you realised how sloppy some aspects of the game design were. Too many things were broken, unpolished, or just didn't make sense.
Mutants Rising (http://mutantsrising.com/news.html) looks like it might be a spiritual successor to FO2; that's great and I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's done. Kudos to them for actually creating their own game instead of just b****ing about Beth ruining the FO series.
