well, u might be true about shooting people with points is not rpg, but u miss out the point of levelling up ur character, inventory system, classes, jobs.. therefore, oblivion IS a rpg with a bit of fps element.. but as for fallout, i rather classify it as turn-base fps..

so, the latest review (from xbox magz that is.) gave fallout 3 10/10.. so far so good..

sorry.. i thought this was RA3 thread juz now.. btw, ori fallout 3 not yet in malaysia rite? cant wait much longer...

so, fallout 3 survival edition wont be coming to malaysia? damn...i only want the fallout 3 alarm clock..

Personally, i think fallout 3 is a good game though.. (just my personal opinion, dont flame me ya.. ) it is actually not as bad as what those fallout prequels fans/veterans were saying, but it is not a great game either compared to some other great rpgs like KOTOR and the witcher.. just good (more than average, in other words).. the combat is quite fun actually, especially using the VATS.. i mean, its newbie friendly.. (considering that shooting those enemies and mutants with low stats and character levels is a pain in the ass) the graphic is average, since it is using the same oblivion engine, poor rag doll physics..

overall, this game is MEANT for the newcomers to the series.. however, i do agree with soggie that this game does not deserve to be named 'FALLOUT' as it does not live up to what its prequels did.. it should have other name...

this game is kinda lamer than the oblivion.. My first 2 hour into the game, already makes me dizzy..
oh yeah, in megaton, about the lady called Nova, i was misinterpreting about the dialogue on 'what does it takes to hire u?'. Initially, I thought this must be some sex service, my lust was overwhelming me that i quickly find caps/money cheat code at the web.. But then, it was acually no more than sleeping BESIDES me, not ON me.. I was like WTF?
One more thing, the map is huge but the developers forgot to add in some transportation mean.. This makes me dont want to continue playing this game coz i dont want wasting my time walking from 1 point to another point..

i rather opt for solution 6..
