Bro I suggest that you get a fast charger to charge

I just got myself Aukey PA-PY10 with USB-C Power Delivery that should charge iPhone X from 0 to 50% within 30 mins.

The supplied wall charger I already felt it is slow. I can imagine your wireless charger will be even slower

I read that some people are selling off their X and reverting back to their old 7 or 8 after a couple of weeks as they seem to prefer the “old” Apple. Glad you’re not amongst them biggrin.gif

I will get it. Waiting for the wall charger to arrive first

The approved one from Apple for USB PD is only available in white. I want my cable to be Black. Match the charger and phone colour

It's a Baseus WXHSD Qi Wireless Charging Pad Dual Coil with Holder.

Bought it for HK$220.

Yea, for me, it's about moving on. If I plan to continue using iPhone, might as well start the re-learning now. There's no turning back for me. lol.

Anker powerport+ should be able to charge iphone 8/8+/X with same speed as ipad charger. Only abit slower than PD charger.

Difference would be 15 minutes for full charge.

Day 6. Started playing with the wireless charging. Works as advertised, even when encased with a silicon case.

[attachmentid=9320115][attachmentid=9320116][attachmentid=9320117][attachmentid=9320119][attachmentid=9320122]

Allows for fast charging option, with appropriate charger.

Looks cool.

How long it takes to full charge your phone.

Thanks. To be honest, I don't know. Have never had to charge from 0%-100%. But based on daily usage, I find it decently fast enough for regular use. Sorry I can't be more precise.

But I should try it out one day. If I do, I'll let you know.

Since you have both iphone 8 and 10, which device do you use more? Kinda in a dilemma, whether go with the 10 or 8 plus. Unlocking phone in dark works well every time?

I use them for different purposes - work vs personal - so not apple to apple comparison. but if I had to choose, I would go for the X.

Unlocking in the dark works - but I find it works better when your face is further away from the screen. the problem is my tendency to look closer at the screen in the dark, naturally, hence that's counter productive to Face ID.

I see. Does lowering the brightness to very low level will cause its screen to flicker?

For me personally, the black (or rather space grey) is a fingerprint magnet. I know it makes no difference once you slap on a case, but I have OCD on this type of thing, ha ha ha.

Not always true. There have been numerous arguments for and against this issue, but I'd like to think that as long as you do charge your battery, whether fast or not, you're wearing it out anyway.
