The server is SEA based so will most likely be in Singapore. Taiwan already have their own server which is already running for quite ahwile.

Atm Black Desert SEA is located on Taiwan. The BD SEA website IP (103.97.51.200) and create char game server (103.97.51.132) are Taiwan server. (Windows Resource Monitor)

We just can hope PearlAbyss willing to move their server to singapore on CBT or OBT...

It's quite lag/delay on Black desert Taiwan specially on Guild PVP, Boss and event.
If PearlyAbyss really move their server to singapore for SEA players, I will buy the Legendary Package !!!

Most probably will move to SG, unless they want to troll SEA player...SG server just too ideal to support whole SEA region (Based on DOTA2 Sea server experience)

So far I playing TW server is acceptable, not as much as pay to play, it’s like had to invest time and enjoy.

In sea, hard to say, from packages price we can see the businesses technique ( require buy more Acoins than actual packages need) which not applied on other server.

Screw that for bringing 3 years old game to SEA. Back to TW server.

Advice to all who hvnt played, if you are willing to spend for higher package, go for it, you will be in serious need of 30days value pack especially selling boss gear, u dun wan to waste millions of dollar when selling stuff, not sure about SEA, but in TW selling stuff in marketplace you only gain 65% profit without value pack(a 100million boss gear only earns you 65million, imagine that, its a hidden monthly subscription, playing with your mind, unless you can withstand that temptation ). So the bonus 800P or 400P will comes in handy, you will not need to topup for at least few months.

Some extra stuff which you will eventually buy out of frustration, such as pet for picking drops and maybe costume set for extra 10% exp when you hit exp hard cap or some you think are necessary, depending on the cost of these in-game + free P for each package, this will determine whether the higher package is worth or not, else you might want to buy stuff separately.

Still need. You just win the CBT access. Once the game is launched you'll have to buy2play. Given the nature of SEA, I'm kinda afraid the population will be quite low.

You can get better horse in game, the essential items as I had mentioned, you may upgrade after you bought the cheapest pack, but then it wont be cost effective compare to first time bought package.

All package have "1" value pack, the real stuff is the extra or bonus P comes with higher package, you will need that to buy another value pack, if you topup for value pack for next month as well as costume and pet afterward, you will regret it after you calculate the cost. If you are going to play long term or serious abt this game, you better buy the highest package you can afford, my 2 cents.

Guys i think we should create a clan/guild when the game is fully launched at 22/11, so that we are able to make so new friends and enjoy the awesome game together.

If I buy the highest tier package available, is the effect like mount and pet permanent?
Or have to top up to extend the validity or to buy additional features?

Try open this morning still same for me, click the black desert exe and it show that black screen with wording around, never have chance to download the game also.... never face this kind of issue in any game....

Try redownload the launcher again, and check if you have the latest .net framework and vc redistributable. Or if you dunno which one you don't have, just download everything. And if I not mistaken, the exe is in 64bit.

Advertised as SEA games but somehow all their Acoin is in USD currency. And can't seems to use VISA to buy Acoins as well.

i got everything in latest. spec also meet.

just found out the issue, bad programming for the launcher, when install cannot put a different folder name. i rename it to BDO and put in other drive having this issue. Once i change the folder name back exactly like what it provide it other drive, ok can open. damn it....

When you start the launcher, do you have the pop up saying please purchase the package prior to the patch something like that ?

after start the launcher, i just log in, then it start download, havent finish. will check again once back tonight.

Chosen as CBT tester but somehow the game thinks I'm not maybe. Thats why won't start. Wanted to try buying the game but don't have PayPal and don't support visa.

The game is very action based with flashy animation but somehow I felt the game is very pvp geared...not really PVE geared like party together to clear dungeons...hunt boss and etc. Rarely requires communication and team work from another person. Have been solo-ing the game for a while and eventually got bored =(

Try downloading the game first. I didn't apply for any beta but I am able to login for the CBT.

At the launcher it prompts me to buy a package before starting but i just clicked it away and managed to get in.

Maybe it works for you too.

Hvnt install, do SEA server have specific server for new player like TW? if then I shall wait until OBT, as the exp buff server limited to 1 months only, which is the mistake I made by using 7day free pass and then miss out the exp server for the whole month.

4 only.... stick back to TW server.. since only have 4 class.

New Player server that buff exp only come after 6 months of BDO TW.

That also only apply to player who never play for 1 months inactive or new player baru dapat go to that server.

6 now, they add wizard and witch last night after patch..

i think it will be more classes added during CBT until OBT open..

since day 2 i cant play. play for awhile then connection lost. huhuhu

unfortunately black desert is not alot to use VPN (wtfast, battleping, etc ) it will auto disconnect after 15-25min.

trying this game now. i think this game ignite my gaming passion a little bit again.
maybe will be playing this after launch.

im using finch vpn dont have this problem.
been using finch since if i try to play on my digi internet will dc during character login.
