This might sound weird or crazy to people who do not know this but i wanted to transform my old bass into fretless Bass. My local luthier never heard of this process so he is at lost. Anyone know anyone who's willing to do It?
Also base on the tutorial on youtube it seems that its pretty easy DIY, however it is not recommended to use wood filler because it does not last long. I don't know how to fill it with venner. So anyone who has done it pls advice
Pls and Thank you

Just go get a squire or cort fretless
probably solves half your headaches and wont burn your guitar along the way

Two is One and One is None.

great luthier u got there...as its quite a common process.
logically veneer u just need the right thickness, glue them in...then sand it down to match the fretboard radius.
only question is where to find veneer around here...
