1- i read that cashback cycle follows calendar month, is that right?
2- if you spend on say 1 january, when will the cb being credited? by end february or on statement cycle? any pattern of which date of the month?
3- read somewhere that the cb is not going to show up in amonline?

Agree on their lousy service

Spent Rm1000+ on shopee last month and all i got is Rm 0.90 cash rebate    Called customer service and they said that is recurring transaction but in my statement, it shows all of the transactions to be paid via iPay88 

Complaint to their complain department, but to me, their service is also as bad as their customer service department. Overall, i would really rate Ambank customer service 4/10, a failure to me!

I do not know why you will still require me to share the calculations as your colleague and also Ms Rose from One Stop Resolution have already calculated that for me.
Nevertheless, i will share it once again for your perusal. I hope there are communications amongst Ambank staff next time so the same info from client will not have to be repeated again and again.

I have only received RM 6.59 on 19th June 2018 (May 2018 online cash rebate) for all of my online spending from 1st May 2018 to 31st May 2018. However, upon my re-calculation, i should have gotten RM 15.08 as oppose to RM 6.59 that had been credited to me. The calculations as followings:

17th May 2018 = RM 98.00 from Shopee
19th May 2018 = RM 9.50 from Lazada
19th May 2018 = RM 9.50 from Lazada (1st transaction)
20th May 2018 = RM 9.50 from Lazada  (2nd transaction)
21st May 2018 = RM 93.00 from Shopee
29th May 2018 = RM 98.00 from Shopee
30th May 2018 = RM 185.02 from Goshop Online

Total online spent = RM 502.52 (Suppose to get RM 15.07 cash rebate)

However, Ms Rose told me GoShop Online is not counted as online shopping despite i have made the purchase online at www.goshop.com.my ?! Well fine, even if you ignore that RM 185.02 from Goshop, the total spending is RM 317.50, which means 3% of it should be RM 9.53.

But i am only given RM 6.59 for it. Please advise? I am tired of explaining the same thing again and again to all of your different agents that "help" me in my case. I have also credit card from other banks but NONE of them give me issue like this. I am really fed up with it.

Could you please give me a definite answer on how your cash rebate (3% online purchase) is calculated and what are the hidden T&C ?? (Just like Goshop is not classified as online purchase?!?! , Shopee paid via iPay88 is also not classified as online purchase?? Are you kidding me??!

Yesterday Ambank credit card agent told me that True Visa cash rebate benefit will be revised starting next year. For those want to apply True Visa, please take note.

Nov's 3% rebate was credited on 27 Dec 2018.
My guess we wait till 28 Jan 2019 to get Dec's rebate from TRUE Visa  

Base on my card statement record, the CB normally will credit on 25 - 27th every month, not sure everyone same anot.

Im ready to chop the card if no CB come in

They have cut off every month to update CCRIS, surprisingly until today my last update for AmBank was 31.1 when other banks are already reflected as 28.2.
I'm not sure which date they will do CCRIS update, so just monitor it. If it's still there after 1 month, I guess it will be appropriate to follow up.

The problem is, CCRIS is showing the CL of RM12,500...

Seems like for business people only. All online spend not entitle rewards.

Alright, I just came back from the booth and applied True Visa.

Free gifts are umbrella and luggage bags.

Luggage bags only for Plat level and above cards and have to apply at least two cards to get it.

True Visa is only entitled for umbrella.

The guy tried to convince me to apply WMC/VI to get the luggage bags but honestly I'm not interested in the cards or the bags.

While talking, I asked him about the wireless headphones he was holding and he said for that I will need to apply one conventional and one Islamic card. Let me be frank, this is the part which I really dislike while I was checking through the specs printed on the box, I noticed it was a fake headphones, and I had no intention to apply Islamic card at all. However, he sneakily squeezed in another form and asked me to sign an Islamic application form while I was signing for True Visa application. I did sign on it but usually I will check the application form again before they submit, so I found out this and immediately I asked to tear the form in front of me. Eventually, he gave me the Islamic application form and let me handle myself.

So, in short just be alert with these agents. At the end, I only applied True Visa and got the umbrella.

I have applied one World card on credit card booth but I received two cards, i.e. Infinite and World.

Will I be charged SST if I don't activate the card? The sales person told me won't be charged for card I didn't activate.

Abit disappointed with the sales guy as I already told him I need one card only but he still signed me up for two.

For me, it's the AmBank Cash Rebate Visa Platinum Card, 8% cashback for online, grocery and phamarcy capped at RM15 per category, 0.1% unlimited for others, with total min spend of RM1500 per month.

If I apply, I will choose UnionPay credit card.
