Anyone actually still keeping their cards after they changed their lounge tnc?
I know there is no harm keeping them since no AF etc, but I don't like leaving my cards lying around at home serving no purpose. Heck if they suddenly change their tnc to include AF, I wouldn't even know until charged since I don't use the card nor do I check the statements anymore. |

QUOTE(savvyaunty @ Mar 29 2018, 11:49 AM) Ohh 60k is quite a bit harder to hit lolQUOTE(Zanmai0146 @ Mar 29 2018, 12:28 PM) 30k? Sure. 60k probably not, though my total credit card expenses for the past 3+ years was nearly 300k I think. My MBB points was nearly 1.2 million treat points, but too bad it wasn't with a Reserve card or I could have gotten 2 business class return tickets to Europe |

QUOTE(savvyaunty @ Mar 29 2018, 01:17 PM) Just use first since first year fees is waived. Even if I swipe 60K I wont use WMC cause MBB FCB and M2C is much better for cashback I was using those 2 cards too, together with PBB VS. Now I’ll only be using them for insurance, utilities and government expenses. My priority is on points instead of CB for my main card now. |

Just cancelled my Plat & VS card few days ago. Didn't even manage to make use of their free PPL the last few months before they put up the RM500 requirement...
Now that they also remove Plat access i couldn't be bothered to apply for their VI & WMC... Will stick with my MBB VI & PBB VS for PPL access. Only sad part is PBB VS PPL access is only within Msia... |

QUOTE(qhw @ Jul 12 2025, 12:31 AM) i thought Am enrich is the best airmile card, so with this revision which bank offers the best airmile card? HLBB is much better than AM Enrich now, ironic considering AM is the official MAS partner...HLBB dining RM1 = 1 airmile HLBB Travel & Retail RM4 = 1 airmile HLBB Others RM6 = 1 airmile (This includes Insurance!) No AF!! & 4x PPL per year |

QUOTE(zstan @ Jul 14 2025, 12:45 PM) for frequent travellers who utilises the lounge often and maxing out the 35kg luggage privilege it is definitely worth it. not to mention priority boarding and higher chance of getting upgraded to business for free For frequent travellers mainly aiming for economy tickets sure, but for those only aiming for business seats, all those perks are already included in the tickets. So the main difference btw HLBB & AM is if your focus is more on the extra benefits e.g. lounge, extra baggage, priority boarding, then go for AM. If your main priority is earning airmiles, then HLBB is better |

QUOTE(zstan @ Jul 14 2025, 05:53 PM) Why not get both? For earning miles the HLBB seems better in every area, no point getting AM since the extra benefits doesn't apply to me Those from Alliance VI, including me should be considering HLBB now after they cut all the perks. I'll cancel my Alliance VI if they won't waive the AF, but i'm actually thinking of getting MBB Krisflyer Amex Plat now. AF isn't as bad at RM300 per year for principal only, and their miles is still RM2.50 per mile which is the best rate now... Not to mention KF miles redemption value is actually better than Enrich, and their planes, food & servicing is so much more better than MAS... |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jul 15 2025, 01:52 AM) Problem is you will be limited by the number of merchants accepting AMEX. There's other cards to consider if you want to go KF route. Fortunately there are more merchants in malls that accepts Amex now, but Shopee & Lazada making the biggest difference since most stuffs could be gotten from there.https://www.refinedpoints.com/the-ultimate-guide-krisflyer And experience may vary, but just FYI it won't be easy to redeem flights, plenty of competition... you definitely need to plan well ahead compared to MAS Definitely redeeming flights needs to be planned in advance. But the quality for SIA vs MAS is significant enough for me to make that extra effort QUOTE(zzzhhhzzz @ Jul 15 2025, 10:03 AM) so guys.. with the devaluation of enrich earnings from Ambank visa infinite, what credit card offers the best miles per ringgit now ? (aiming for enrich points) HLBB VI |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 21 2025, 04:36 PM) Agree, SIA business class compared to MH is worlds apart. I'm glad EM can be used for SIA now although the points required is so much more compared to MH, but in terms of safety, quality and service I think it is worth it.I just wish there was a Visa/MC that offers a better KF point conversion for local spending... |
