Alright, I just came back from the booth and applied True Visa.
Free gifts are umbrella and luggage bags. Luggage bags only for Plat level and above cards and have to apply at least two cards to get it. True Visa is only entitled for umbrella. The guy tried to convince me to apply WMC/VI to get the luggage bags but honestly I'm not interested in the cards or the bags. While talking, I asked him about the wireless headphones he was holding and he said for that I will need to apply one conventional and one Islamic card. Let me be frank, this is the part which I really dislike while I was checking through the specs printed on the box, I noticed it was a fake headphones, and I had no intention to apply Islamic card at all. However, he sneakily squeezed in another form and asked me to sign an Islamic application form while I was signing for True Visa application. I did sign on it but usually I will check the application form again before they submit, so I found out this and immediately I asked to tear the form in front of me. Eventually, he gave me the Islamic application form and let me handle myself. So, in short just be alert with these agents. At the end, I only applied True Visa and got the umbrella. Applied on 31.10, today received welcome email from AmBank. I guess my True card is approved and could have been sent to office but I'm currently in overseas so not sure of this.
Checked CCRIS, approved on yesterday with a pretty high CL. |

I applied during roadshow in mall, card received on 9th Nov but I wasn't in office. Only collected today and it was from City Link mail drop.

Been some time since I last used their app, I last held their card back more than 6 months ago.
Is it normal that the app will crash during daily app maintenance? I experienced it last night, before that I still can use the app but past 12 a.m., then it crashes every single time when I tap on the app. If that's the case, quite misleading right? I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app but didn't help. This morning tried again and all OK now. |
