Anyone experiencing random lag spikes for the past 2 days?

My latency shows a moderate 600, but for some reason my friends and I are getting intermittent spikes. TMNut Screamyx is the ISP.

lagspikes are ingame. noticed that before 9 pm (Malaysian time), they will come and it hits quite a few ppl ingame, even in Oz and NZ. after that, it's pretty smooth from thereon.

Hmm people are just noticing that latency gets fubared after 1am? Been happening for me for more than a month although it's worse the last few days. It's not a wow problem it's an ISP issue. You know it's bad when google is returning 400ms pings.

i'm usually good after 9 pm.

have heard from guildies who transferred over to aman'thul from some of the other pvp servers. these are those located in australia so if they're feeling it, we're probably going to feel it more. a lot of ppl transferring from Frostmourne (PvP) because of bad lag. they did mention it was related to that particular server. so oh well.

I have the exact same thing. After 1am everything goes down the drain. I think Telekom is trying to make us go to bed early. rclxub.gif

Did you read today's Intech pullout from The Star?

Some analyts went and compared our broadband services with that of neighbouring countries. The short version: Ours sucks. Like beladi big surprise, i should sit down before I get a heart attack from the shock.

But i could have told you that without needing a fancy study. Just check out the TMNet rant page on LYN...

Those analysts are from a local uni namely MMU. I think also the money could be better spent elsewhere e.g. improvements to making streamyx broadband speed more viable.

But then again, it might be too revealing that TMNET doesn't want to let public to know their weak areas. Sigh.

BTW, is MMU still under Telekom or it's a separate independant entity now? Then again, big brother T has never really listen to the public, what more their own sister-brother-entities...

Had been MTing in Kara all night at about 1-1.3k. Not as fun as it could have been...

Got DCed on Curator as well last night at about 15%. I get the biggest laugh when i come back online at about 4% with the curator still glued to me with me asking - is the boss still there?

True story... sadly

Only at static bosses where i just have to spam stuff. Anything that involves picking up moving targets is a bit of a problem.
