Just wanna ask for some review..what is the fuel consumption for Kawasaki Z250 and Yamaha R25?
Which one is more fuel saving between those two?

Z250... RM30 of RON95

full throttle all the time about 250km
normal riding, occasional pushing.. about 280km
maintaining eco mode (below 102 km/h) as much as possible.. reached 350km before

and if quazacolt answers this thread on his R25 consumption.. ignore his reply.. the feller is redlining all the time HAHAHAHHAHA

A little bit off topic here
As I know for the 250cc class motorcycle FC is about 21-24km/L but Honda claim that cb500x is able to achieve 29km/L at their moto gp booth

Is it real? A so much higher cc bike has better fc?

higher cc typically has more power/torque so requires less energy to move hence uses less fuel.

so yes, completely possible.

The 500cc is a sweet spot in between. I love that bike. Friend got one, can get around 22 - 25km/L.

Means mid weight bike is the most practical among all the range?seem like it have adequate power yet cost saving

highway yes.

it ultimately depends on what rpm /speeds you normally go at.

if you get a 250 cc but always go 180 maxed out red line, you would be burning more fuel than a 500cc because that 500cc may be just at cruising speed at maybe half the rpm, even if it is going at the same 180km/h

on the other hand, if you spend a lot of time in 20km/h high traffic/traffic jams commuting, then the 250cc would be better because both bikes being at low speed, the 500cc would require more fuel to stay idle merely because of higher engine capacity.

tldr: read bold.

Eh how are you bro? Recover fully already?
By the way the FC range kind of huge, what about normal city riding on urban traffic and cruising at 100km/h at highway (like LDP) hmm.gif

My R25 is modded to be in an even more aggressive riding position.

Why would I ride a cruiser? I'd most likely quit riding than get on a cruiser.

Scooter on the other hand, looking for a Nmax maybe laugh.gif
