got a weird problem here again, need some advice?
after i put my rig to 320*9 ~ 2.88ghz, i manage to run super PI32M but orthos cannot go for more then 10 sec......but gaming and everything is fine ok so i let it be, then weird problem again when i try to startup it up again later, no reaction at all...... try clear the bios, USB device all unplug no use... and finally reset the ram it alive again....... btw i let the ram in default setting of 5,5,5, 18......could it be the ram problem ? ic, thx for info, i try to adjust the ram timing and see how..........sorry for the slow reply another rig broke down, still figuring out what is wrong
i leave everything at default, ram runnig at 667(4:5 if not mistaken), so 320mhz on processor on make the rams runnig at 400..... voltage size i push the NB 1.5v and SB 1.3v (up 1 mark from the bios setting, i could recall which is which, hopefulyl it's correct), other all auto so should be default, i try all small, large and blend all also not working..... shawty i'm waiting for ur ram.........hehe orthos is |

DFI normally show slightly higher reading, but it should be normal as 266 fsb is actually 266.666667.........so u add up until 340 should end up slightly different i guess

ur voltage drop is kind of too much for this DFI board, it should be around 0.05v or so...........like 1.325 show around 1.28 ........may be power supply problem perhaps.........
anyway ur mushkin ram can be push till 2.1v without problem as long as u have some cooling on it........ anyway something to share here, DFI p965 Dark runs perfectly on q6600 G0........still in progress of tweaking...... initial result stock voltage reach 3.15ghz without any problem, all cPU features still on better then i expected |
