QUOTE(sHawTY @ Jul 14 2007, 03:09 PM) glad to hear that QUOTE(sHawTY @ Jul 14 2007, 03:09 PM) ... same answer found on Google, will try that method later (need to find a floppy drive It ask for the drive A because it asks for a floppy drive that has the bios file. Put the bios 0424 that you've downloaded from DFI website, then put the bios file into the floppy drive. Boot your pc, then the system will detect the bios file in the floppy drive automatically then it will flash itself. Once the flashing done, then your system is back like a new board. QUOTE(AceCombat @ Jul 14 2007, 03:17 PM) yup, bios corrupted like bro shawty said. dunno, after black out, wanna turn it on --> BIOS post those message anyway, how could it happen with just black out? when pc running in windows and black out,it supposes bios no problem one,how come the bios will corrupted? (i thought only flashing bios will corrupt the bios?) it's not like i'm updating BIOS, just hearing music QUOTE(gengstapo @ Jul 14 2007, 03:20 PM) no OCing done yet, waiting fund to upgrade my ram - Crucial Ballastix |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Jul 15 2007, 12:00 PM) My advise is for you to update the bios or at least, flash it to the original bios you're using right now. where can i get the original BIOS? got it in DFI website? There's a possibility that the bios is still corrupted. Corrupted bios also may lead to fail to load windows. Try updating the bios first, then try to load the windows back, if that fails, then you may continue with reformating. All in all, it's up to you to make your choice, i am just giving advise. QUOTE(sup3rfly @ Jul 16 2007, 12:24 PM) here you go... which version is the original one? Official http://us.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/bios..._FLAG=A&SITE=US Beta http://us.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/bios..._FLAG=B&SITE=US damn, i just read on how to update the BIOS, last time i updated the BIOS (ver. I96PD424) without turning the "update all" option, maybe that's the reason why my BIOS ROM corrupted |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Jul 16 2007, 05:22 PM) Wait, you're updating your motherboard bios in windows? o ya ka For god's sakes bro, don't do that. Flash your bios in dos mode to be at the safest area. Yea i know someone will say, "i've flashed bios in windows many times oso nothing happen?" yes, you're lucky. But seriously, if you love your motherboard, flash bios in dos. Not windows. Flashing bios in windows is prone to many error, since in windows, there's always data transferred in each second. QUOTE(pcmoddingmy @ Jul 17 2007, 02:29 AM) Guys, I was wondering if any Infinity Dark users here would like to trade your motherboard with my AW9D-MAX (red edition). Please PM me... wow Btw, anyone here running over 600MHz memory on this board? |
