refer to above posts about samsung pay
it seems like so hard to collect and some more 6 months validity only
to me, this type of design more means to rich people or business who always spend/purchase a lot
just like credit card points

if like this, it is not my favor
future when it support the banks that i am using, i will use it also

it is hard for me to collect the huge number of points to redeem even the lowest points item

many shops at Malaysia are still not friendly for cashless payment method
*
Yea, for low spenders, can redeem RM10 vouchers from parkson only =D hard to redeem gear s3..maybe at best, iconx old model =D

so far i have no problem using samsung pay..almost everything i puchase using samsung pay...if they dont have pay wave, u can still pay using the side panel where u swipe the card. dont mention samsung pay, just tell them using pay wave.
*
Just wondering, pay wave and samsung pay is using the same technology right? so even though they dont have samsung pay logo at their shop or the payment terminal, we still can use samsung pay and act as a Visa credit card with pay wave feature?

u sure what you talking or not.

samsung pay can also be used on NON paywave enabled credit card terminal.
*
Just wondering, if there's no paywave function, how will the credit card terminal detect our phone as physical credit card which needs to be swipe or plug into the terminal? our phone canggih one r? =D so everytime when u wanna make payment that time, u dont tell the seller that u wanna make payment using samsung pay? just say you wanna pay by credit card? biggrin.gif

1. our phone is that canggih until it can replicate the magnetic strip of physical cards. hence our samsung pay can work on older terminals. people have been doing this since samsung s6, it's called Magnetic Secure Transmission.

2. if the seller don't know what is samsung pay or don't have pay wave, I'll just ask him to bring over the terminal. then type the amount needed to pay, select VISA (if asked). then i will tap my phone at the place where u swipe the card. it's a little slow, but be patient.

however and has failed to go thru at ONE merchant (coffea coffee sri petaling). so far i use samsung pay MST (NOT Paywave) at all other terminals without fail. mostly at bars, and some older/local hypermarkets .
*
i see, thanks for sharing =D i shall try with other merchant that don support paywave...pay with style =D

Hi all, just bought my note 8 a week ago.
I'm considering Spigen Ultra Hybrid or Ringke Fusion but not sure which one is better, any suggestion ?

Planning to install HAO Full TG , which case is more suitable ?

Thanks =)
*
If you wanna install HAO Full Cover, the above 2 cases also wont fit..better go for semi full cover..each side of the TG reduced by 1/2 mm..'more' case friendly....im using semi full cover now, able to fit Spigen Neo Hybrid, Otterbox Symmetry and HAO Impact Shield case...

If you do the full package (i.e. TG and back wrapping)..they will FOC HAO Impact Shield casing...

Cheers.

Sure, its kinda for me to made a decision which is better, headache.
Yeah, also considering for semi full if really cant fix for both of the case.
HAO Impact Shield casing look not so nice for me  sweat.gif
Have you doing the back wrapping ? its worth ?

Thank bro !
*
Hahah, np..FYI, Otterbox Symmetry can fit HAO Full Cover TG...Once you use Semi Full version of TG with neo hybrid, it will look like you're using full cover version biggrin.gif, fits perfectly...as for the back wrapping, RM70 is abit on the high side from my opinion..however, it saves you the hassle to always wipe away your own finger prints every time you take out your phone from the casing.

On a side note, if you're using Gear VR, probably it wont fit nicely after applying HAO TG, you need to do some thinning on the adapter of the Gear VR in order to use it with peace of mind.

bought a gear vr.. but whitestone dome glass sp cannot use sad.gif
*
Gear VR can be used with Whitestone dome glass, just need to do some modification with the adapter. Like this : https://imgur.com/gallery/IvE5v

I'm using Hao tempered glass, the thickness of the tempered glass is almost the same as whitestone, done the modification of the adapter and it fits perfectly now.

Update on my phone case..

sent it to Sunway pyramid as it was the nearest service centre to me.. thanks to everyone suggesting other service centre though..

they checked the phone, tried to hard reset and whatever reset they can and still the phone won’t turn on so they conclude the motherboard rosak already..

so they had to change the motherboard and I got my phone back 1 and half hours later. got it back like a new phone with nothing inside.. thank god samsung cloud auto backup my phone.. so now restoring the backup.

Yeah, that is what i meant.

Update: Opps, sorry. My bad. Mine was still on N950FXXU1AQI1. No new update after this. SME set.

International Samsung Galaxy Note 8 update:

November 30, 2017: Samsung is rolling out firmware version N950FXXU1BQK6 that includes the November security patches (fixing the KRACK Wi-Fi and BlueBorne exploits), security improvements to Wi-Fi function, and enhancements to Calendar, Reminder, Gallery, and Voice Recorder apps.

September 13, 2017: Samsung is rolling out firmware version N950FXXU1AQI1 with improvements to the camera software and wireless charging.
*
Haha, no worries, me too checking daily for the latest OS update...wonder what is the hold up for Samsung Malaysia to release the update OTA.
