today went to apple store to touch the IphoneX, one lady tested infront me , and told his husband, the entire phone i dont feel special but overpriced, only thing that impressed me and look into it is the wireless charger. i was like err. hahaha

but tbh iphone x LCD is so much better when they put along side with iphone 7/8

I like the screen too,look nice and the screen design is more towards bezeless compare to note 8 which still having small area on top and bottom

Dude, was going to the N8 from above mentioned shop until I read your post. You got a full refund?? Seriously from a phone shop in this country?? That's amazing, what did you do.
They actually refunded with the above flaws. With some of the worst after sales service on the planet, good for you. Usually it will be sour lemon face the moment one has a problem with a purchase.

The registration claim by them is totally false.  The other two flaws is the particular unit you got or others too here having screen bleed?

Wrong. My unit was sold to me with already registered warranty (which is 6/11, device bought at 11/11) and I managed to email samsung my receipt, imei, serial number and my personal details and got the warranty start date changed to 11/11. It took 1-2 days but they did do it.

So, can they sell you a used unit and claim it to be new? Absolutely. if someone is not careful it can be done.

True, I can't proof if it's new or used. But from what I learned from Samsung and their warranty start date policy, it states that the warranty start date is based on purchase date, not before that. If it's already registered and the date is before my purchase date then... how? LoL.
Thing is, I'm not saying every NEW unit is a used unit. It could be true that it was registered when the shop purchase it as a form of proof of purchase by the distributor to the shop. Proof what? that its a genuine SME unit and not an import. Samsung understands this procedure, it's not normal procedure but Samsung would still allows the customer to change the warranty start date later on after purchase by providing appropriate documentation (purchase receipt, imei, serial number).

As usual la, there's the right way to do it and there's the song sang upside down rightside up way. As long as Samsung can make money I think they will continue to do this.

If your worried then just check everything on the spot before paying. Check the device, no scratch, dust, dirt, hair and the warranty. Yes, check the warranty on the spot, if it's already registered, then go ask them why. If your not happy then just walk away.
