Ya i think that is true. i have my friend who is earning more than 20k USD++ per month as consultant while his wife is a SPM. he is always oversea also contribute a lot and even bought a house under his wife name. later his wife found cheating him with another guy. in the end they divorce. the girl did not get to get even a cent because judge said she did not contribute anything.

In Malaysia you do not need to split 50% of your wealth to your wife. Malaysia law actually protect the guy more than the women. Only stuff that has your wife name you need to split with her.
As for the alimony, even if you dont pay her, she cant do anything.
