With the gimping of the RHB Smart account rates, what are some other high-yield savings accounts to consider? Which is the easiest to use and easiest to hit the spend thresholds?

Hi there,
Has anyone opened an RHB Joy@Work account? Did you manage to link it to your existing RHB CASA Account? I have done the online opening steps, but it is showing me my employment from 5 years ago and I can't seem to update the details. Appreciate if those with active Joy@Work accounts can update on how they go about. Thanks! |

You would need to go branch physically and inform them that your employer has bank account in RHB and would like your bank account to be under Joy@Work.

If my employer is using Maybank account, and they credit my salary into my RHB smart account (not smart account-i), am I eligble for bonus rate 1%?2nd question, if i become unemployed, can I still keep my joy@work account active? |

RHB smart-i 2025 campaign seems to be 4.25% if can have monthly incremental of 1k. Without then 3.85% (not as good). What I don't like is PAY requirement increased to RM25, but can be done I guess. Is this the highest possible rate currently without invest/trading stuff?

I am using this acc to pay CC bills of 35k for May. I also have 1000+ in a newly open RHB Smart. How much n how should I transfer to RHB Smart in order to enjoy 4.25%. What is the rm1k incremental increase? If I transfer 100k to RHB Smart n use it to pay CC bills would it affect the 4.25% interest? |
