Damn from 3.35% to 1.65%, more than halved.

All good things must come to an end.

Time to look into OCBC 360

With the gimping of the RHB Smart account rates, what are some other high-yield savings accounts to consider? Which is the easiest to use and easiest to hit the spend thresholds?

Hi there,

Has anyone opened an RHB Joy@Work account?

Did you manage to link it to your existing RHB CASA Account?

I have done the online opening steps, but it is showing me my employment from 5 years ago and I can't seem to update the details.

Appreciate if those with active Joy@Work accounts can update on how they go about.

Thanks!

You would need to go branch physically and inform them that your employer has bank account in RHB and would like your bank account to be under Joy@Work.

If my employer is using Maybank account, and they credit my salary into my RHB smart account (not smart account-i), am I eligble for bonus rate 1%?

2nd question, if i become unemployed, can I still keep my joy@work account active?

RHB smart-i 2025 campaign seems to be 4.25% if can have monthly incremental of 1k. Without then 3.85% (not as good). What I don't like is PAY requirement increased to RM25, but can be done I guess. Is this the highest possible rate currently without invest/trading stuff?

0.05% base rate
1.00% save rate
1.4% pay bonus (>RM50k without RM1k incremental increase)
1.4% spend bonus (>RM50k without RM1k incremental increase)
----
Total = RM3.85%

-------------------------------

0.05% base rate
1.00% save rate
1.6% pay bonus (>RM50k with RM1k incremental increase)
1.6% spend bonus (>RM50k with RM1k incremental increase)
----
Total = RM4.25%

-------------------------------

You can get 1.00% extra bonus rate if you use RHB as your salary crediting account via Joy@Work. You can activate it online or at RHB branch. Provided your work allow you to credit salary to RHB.

Need your advice.
I have 100k in OCBC 360 Savings getting 3.15%, end of May going to transfer to EPF. I am using this acc to pay CC bills of 35k for May.
I also have 1000+ in a newly open RHB Smart.
How much n how should I transfer to RHB Smart in order to enjoy 4.25%. What is the rm1k incremental increase?
If I transfer 100k to RHB Smart n use it to pay CC bills would it affect the 4.25% interest?

How do you activate or re-activate your Joy@Work online? I found that I can login to their Joy@Work portal, but my eligibility has been revoked before (just have minimum amount in my Smart account for > 1 year).
