QUOTE(contestchris @ Jan 28 2024, 06:07 PM) RHB Smart is at 3.35% p.a. 9 bills are alot. how did u achieve that?Maintain RM1k monthly average balance = 0.05% Deposit RM2k = 1.80% Spend RM1k on credit card = 0.75% Pay 3 bills = 0.75% Total = 3.35% If you don't have credit card, then just pay 9 bills. Get the same 3.35%. I believe easier than OCBC. And I find it confusing for RHB product page. |

Really did not think of this. Sifu!!Can really consider, even better if could get company to bank in salary there and get that 2% and make a total of 5.35% 😆 ------ Since SC PSA now changed the conditions, looking at UOB One seems it's the highest now? (Given RHB Smart is only 3.35% without salary direct bank in.) This post has been edited by Hinote: Feb 22 2024, 01:21 PM |

Currently I'm already having AmBank Savers acc and was thinking should I be opening UOB one ?
Previously was CTB - STEP-UP INTEREST ACCOUNT but then UOB took over and just gave Privilege Account. Alternatively, when I apply for loan for better interest rate .. advised to open Hong Leong Pay&Save - i Account (don't know why they pick for me Islamic and never asked/inform me) |

QUOTE(contestchris @ Feb 24 2024, 01:30 PM) To get 4% you need rm100k. RM100k is also beyond emergency savings or short term savings for most people. For all other kinds of money, they should be made to work harder anyways. up to within 50-100k is 4%. more than 100k is 3.6%. but within the limits of high yield savings account, this is still the best. |
