Btw, those who use RHB smart. Did you get the 3.35% interest for jan 2023?
My balance was varying too much throughout the month, so it's abit harder for me to calculate and tally. This post has been edited by adele123: Feb 18 2023, 08:32 AM |

If u got your statement in Excel:My balance was varying too much throughout the month, so it's abit harder for me to calculate and tally. add a column to calculate the number of days from 1st of month to transaction date. 2nd column multiple 1st column with daily interest. Sum up 2nd column. CMIIAW This post has been edited by MGM: Feb 18 2023, 09:19 AM |

Without the insurance n investment portions is it: UobOne>RhbSmart>Ocbc360>SC-PSA? |

QUOTE(adele123 @ Feb 18 2023, 10:09 AM) SC-PSA is now 4.15%, can move it up. But SC-PSA must have incremental monthly average balance whereas i am using CASA to park for my cash out from ewallets n >50k cc monthly expenses. Now i use ocbs360 more n hardly on PSA 2.15%.I am not that lazy to expect other ppl to calculate for me. The 2% out of 4.15% is very tricky and hassle to manage, read the TnC carefully, lazy person like you hard to achieve! xander2k8 liked this post

QUOTE(adele123 @ Feb 18 2023, 08:32 AM) Btw, those who use RHB smart. Did you get the 3.35% interest for jan 2023? No they still credited 2.85% interest only. My balance was varying too much throughout the month, so it's abit harder for me to calculate and tally. Use the interest they credited on 31/1 (0.05%) times 10. If it is same as one of the bonus interest (0.50%) they credited on 15/2, then you only getting 2.85% not 3.35%. |

This is for discussion. My question was, did others get their 3.35% or not. Which at least others are sharing their findings. The 2% out of 4.15% is very tricky and hassle to manage, read the TnC carefully, lazy person like you hard to achieve! Not everyone has the temperament to chase down every rm0.01 be it savings account or other thing. QUOTE(tansam @ Feb 18 2023, 02:31 PM) No they still credited 2.85% interest only. Thanks for confirming. But yes. Now i realised your method is a good way to do back of envelope calculation. Cause i was thinking too straight to calculate daily balance myself. Use the interest they credited on 31/1 (0.05%) times 10. If it is same as one of the bonus interest (0.50%) they credited on 15/2, then you only getting 2.85% not 3.35%. QUOTE(joice11 @ Feb 18 2023, 02:33 PM) 1/1 to 31/1 based on past experience. Have always gotten it accurately last year. |
