Hi, if you don't mind I have one question to ask.
I have a problem with my motherboard [ MSIB75MA-E31 ]. This mobo is kinda obsolete so I'm not sure it's worth repairing.
Most of the time it has Error 99 [Black screen with number 99 on bottom right corner, before MSI logo].
I already did basic troubleshooting such as resetting cmos and changed the battery.
I also flashed the latest bios from MSI website, but nothing works.

The mobo has a 6 pin jumper labeled JUSB-PW1. When I reset the pin, sometimes it will boot.
Do you ever encounter something similar to this situation? What could be the problem ya?
Thanks.

error 99 normally something to with IO chip, when certain signal from IO cannot communicate to other device. for example, usb port, network, PS2 etc

That make sense. Before this happen, 2 of the back USB ports suddenly not working. It seems to be working fine after I restart, then a couple of days later got 99 error.
Btw, I think the board use Fintek chip (F71868AD).
If want to repair how much the cost ya, can you give rough estimation?
