The dumprep.exe process is used by Windows to create a report of errors as they occur in your system, as a text file. It will then prompt you to send this error dump file to Microsoft. This process can be terminated if you do not wish to send error reports to Microsoft.
dumprep.exe is flagged as a system process and does not appear to be a security risk. However, removing Dump Report Utility may adversly impact your system.
The Spy Bot database currently registers dumprep.exe to Microsoft.
This is part of Microsoft Windows.
I have downloaded your minidump file from the FAQ Thread u have posted. Please wait for a while I analyse it.
When was the last time your computer was formatted? What was the last thing u installed or updated onto your pc before this "nightmare" occured? In the meantime,
please post a HijackThis log.
