Errrm... I am here not to blame anyone but if MOD said the siggy is oversize then just amend the smaller size siggy but, based on the replies I LOLed...

i think i will go with the staff here.. ur sig seem like breaking 2 rules

Well staff are human too they have high and low and they did not get paid to do the job. If he is normal mood he give u a warning to let u ammend ur sig, if he in good mood he tell u whats wrong and how to ammend it, and if he is in bad mood he remove ur sig completely.

Guess he is in between good and bad mood so dont blame him and i hate ppl who like to take spoon feeding. My philosophy is only help ppl that willing to help themselves. So use some effort to do a search if cannot find only ask for help.

well.. my siggy was removed once too... and it was like urs..
till now i still dunno whats the problem.. but heck, just create a new one..

same here too... being advised by MOD 2wice coz too irritated to some people but apa boleh buat, rules have been made and needed to follow. Sometimes, we doesn't know which line should we amend...

this is like telling me nothing.. i mean if the mod found out the problem why can't they just list it down? not like we're asking you to modify the sig for us, just tell us which part of the regulations we broke.

it's like, police flag you down, then tell you,
if you're not
a) speeding
it could be:
b) you're on the phone while driving
if it's not; it could be
c) you over take at double line
if it is not again, it might be
d) you car tint is too dark

then issue u a summon without listing exactly which law u broke. so which law did you break? and mind you this happen when you're not aware of breaking any of the law above !

i'm not trying to start a fight here, but sometimes it helps to just give a helping hand in pointing out the mistakes we made so that we can correct it isnt it ?

I guess becoz the rules is very simple and straight-forward....if u read the rules....

you yourself obviously know what you did before you get stopped, its not like you did nothing and they block you down for no reason(though this doesnt really apply if you're in malaysia)

its not hard to right click on the sig to check for the file size, or check if there's too many userbars, or does the height of the picture violated the rules etc etc

also, its not hard to click on the FAQ and go through it
if you can surf the forum for discussion on phones, i dont see why cant you go through the rules and understand what is your mistake

IIANM, your picture or animation in your siggies last time was over 70kb in size.

'Why does my signature removed?' Read this FAQ (a nice one) and reflect on it.

however, please be aware that things like sig height should not be more than 15 lines of 10 pt font is not very clear either. so how many pixel is 15 lines of 10 pt font? mind you 10 pt and 10 pixel is not the same.

just be safe and not use a signature

rayzrblade, you failed to mention a few facts. This is not your first signature offense. You've been warned once before, a full year ago to be precise.

When you commit the same offense twice, you loose the 'didn't know' priveledge. The mods have more important things to attend to then to explain why your signature was removed in length and detail, when its obvious you yourself did not read the rules and regulations when you got warned before.

rayzrblade, you are not the only member in this forum. If a moderator has to give your a two page explanation on why your signature was removed, we would need to have 1 moderator for every 5 members. We have 50, which put it at 1600 members to a moderator. The rules are quite clear. While we are somewhat flexible with the height limit, the size limit is clear cut - not more then 70kb. I don't see how you missed that, or why you insisted that the moderator had to point out such a simple fact to you. The PM you got informing you of your signature removal is automatically generated, hence it is a general PM informing you that your signature was removed for any one of the listed reasons.

The same applies in LYN.It is a public forum and there are definitely rules and regulations.Just because you don't need a license to post, it does not mean that u can take the freedom to post for granted. Mods are human too. They're nothing more special than us other than they have higher rights and access to this forum. In the end we're all humans. Humans have tempers and attitudes. If you wouldn't take 15 minutes of your time to read and go through the rules and regulations, what makes you think the mod's not pissed? I do not know the amount of workload nor stress that a mod has.However, if this kind of incident happened due to the member's negligence after the FIRST warning. The member deserves a warning.

I assume that almost everyone that posts here, are at least at their pre-adult stage. Which means that you are to be treated as an ADULT instead of a spoonfeeded kid.

I don't see anything wrong with se7en's post regarding the 70kb limit of the size of a signature.

Staffs are mod's have special privelleges, that is why they have higher attention from the forumer's instead of the others.BUT,if u have everyone's status tally.Don't you think they are not the worse around? Why don't you go against forumers who simply wastes the forum's resource instead? There are many ways to do that and i don't wanna go into details.

Just because you highlighted the replies doesn't make much of a difference. You had the initial opportunity to double check why your signature was removed. You did not (and mind you this is not your first signature offense - he would have been aware of in when your signature was removed)

This would have been the point where any sane person would have lost it. You figure out that your signature is oversized, now you want to know by how much? The signature has already been removed obviously because its over the 70kb limit, so why in the world would you want to know by how much was it oversized, and why would the moderator even be aware of how much is was oversized by?

As i said, under the circumstances, your reluctance to do something simple as read the R&R caused the whole problem.

The mods are here to guide you (ie point you in the direction), not to hold your hands and walk you to the toilet - and clean up thereafter.

right click it and click on properties

Overheight is over the height limit permitted on the signature.

Oversize is over the permitted image size on the signature.
